Update 11:51 p.m.: 511.org reports that this could affect the commute tomorrow morning.

Read first post below:

At around 6 p.m., a two car N-Judah train heading outbound derailed at the intersection of Church and Duboce, which caused major delays for Muni riders during the evening commute. No injuries were reported, according to Muni Spokesman Paul Rose.

Bus shuttles were put in place at Church and Duboce for outbound Muni riders who needed to take the N-Judah or J-Church. Earlier in the evening, N-Judah and J-Church trains that were in the subway were being switched back at Castro Stations. Trains on the ground service were switched back at Church and 16th streets (J-Church) and Carl Street and Hillway Avenue (N-Judah).

As of 8:30 p.m., both trains were moved off to the side near the entrance of the Church and Duboce tunnel entrance. As I was leaving, both trains had been removed from the Church and Duboce intersection.

There still no word yet from Muni officials when the scene will be cleared.
